Take full responsibility for everything you choose to eat. You should have a healthy emotional relationship with your food. Eating is a part of your health and healing. Plan your own diet with your health in mind. My favorite diet is to weight your meat on a food scale before you cook it. Always eat at least two times that weight in greens and never eat more than one half that weight in carbohydrates. Quality is the key—it is your health.
Considerations:
Fresh living vs. dead lifeless Whole, unprocessed vs. devitalized
Raw vs. cooked Natural vs. synthetic
Excess protein, excess starch & fat Pure vs. chemically toxic
greasy, fried fatty foods Red meat and/or rich desserts
Dairy products High fat milk or pasteurized
Commit yourself to an intelligent, sound, humanistic, nutritional philosophy. Look for yourself at avoiding: Refined carbohydrates; Salting your food; Hydrogenated cooking oils & fats; Hydrogenated nut butters; canned, packaged, frozen foods and processed foods
